  Personal Bio

My son Noah says he takes credit for my career. He sparked a flame of chronic frustration where I felt powerless to his solve medical and mental health issues. I can only describe the rest of my story in terms of one miraculous opportunity after another. People and circumstances propelled me to learn more, ask hard questions and become the resource that didn't seem to exist in Texas.

Today I am fortunate to be surrounded by innovative people who constantly consider purpose and authentic meaning. They are bold enough to change as constantly as needed for positive growth. Coming as I was from a past of feeling powerless and defeated, this context is freedom to me.

My cup is overflowing with blessings of an amazing husband, four kids and supportive family and friends.

"I am afraid that all the grace that I have got of my comfortable and easy times and happy hours, might almost lie on a penny. But the good that I have received from my sorrows, and pains, and griefs, is altogether immeasurable . . . We never have such close dealings with God, as when we are in tribulation.”  Charles Spurgeon
